Freecycle and Tennis Elbow

Ok these have nothing in common unless you are moving. Then they just happen to fall on the same day.

Freecycle — is very, very good. Freecycle is online recycling. There are freecycles sponsored by Yahoo and Craig’s list and probably a few others. Most have local groups so you are just working with people in your area. You post what you have or need and people respond. I’ve given away car fluids (antifreeze, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid) and a set of chains. I offered my double bed to a lady who needed one in the new house for her daughter. Keep stuff out of landfills! I have more to offer!

Tennis Elbow — is very bad, especially when you are moving. It started 2 mornings ago with an clear pointed pain on the outside of my elbow. Then I started getting shooting pains through my hands and last night my shoulder was killing me too. I’ve tried to not use it but how in the heck do you do anything to get ready for a move without your arm. There is probably a lesson here; I’ll put most things off for movers to pack next Wednesday. And on Monday my current source of arm pressure (Mooshie laying on my arm while I type) is being shipped to Maui. I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse and require a trip to the doctor.

So everything is on schedule. Car gets put on boat today, kittens fly on Monday, movers come on Wednesday and I leave next Sunday morning. House gets put on market sometime that week.
