Here is a picture I took of my precious Widgit as I was trying out my new Nikon D70 (from Peter). For those of you who don’t know Widgit, we found her at a park during a company picnic. She decided to follow Peter around and come home with us. At the time, she was 5 months old. We nicknamed her “Blurry Flurry”. She was one of those kittens that ran, jumped and slept… but never showed any affection. She greets people at the door…right before she bites you. She loves to play fetch and she loves to play in water. Widgit and I took a LONG time to become buddies. But now I talk to Widgit all day long. We are project buddies. She always wants to help — especially around meal time. Widgit isn’t wicked…she is precious.
Here is a clip of my niece Dayna playing Christmas carols at church during the offering. Would you believe that I don’t even have software that makes her sit up! No- I have the software but my computer is too old to install it!
I still am working on scanning in family pictures. This may take longer than I expected. It is forcing me to learn Photoshop. I have Photoshop training DVD’s from Total Training which are good. I continue to be amazed by the capabilities of Photoshop. Anyone who thinks Photoshop is overpriced deserves to be using Elements (which has great capabilities for the normal user!). Photoshop is precious.
