July Challenge – Work Vs. Play

Kathy’s goal for the month is to incorporate more play into life.  Why don’t adults try to play more… we all take everything too seriously!  Let’s analyze Work vs Play in our lives.  Find ways to have more fun and focus.

DEFINITION of Play: Verb: Engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.   Noun: Activity engaged in for enjoyment and recreation, esp. by children.

For the next week, think through your day and put things you do into 1 of 4 categories:

1. Play
2. Work  (serious or practical purpose)
3. Routines – Things that we need to do regularly (brush teeth, shower, etc)  to survive life (and have more time to play).
4. Rest / Sleep
5. Other category?
