Yesterday out at caravan, I was standing talking to some friends in the parking lot. I was thinking, “man is it hot and sunny”. I hop in my car and before leaving the parking lot, it is drizzly. At first I thought it must be sprinklers because it is still sunny. A few hundred yards down the road, I realize that this is more than a Hawaiian blessing; the sky opened up and it poured for maybe 5 minutes. By the time I reached my first property, it was clear and sunny and the air smelled nice and fresh. That was the start of a busy day.
This is a good thing. Sometimes life gets a little to “routine”. I was out at caravan when I got a call to schedule a listing appointment. I am still at the point in my career where this is really exciting! I continued on to preview several homes and condos on caravan and stopped to talk to a FSBO on the way home. It was almost 2pm when I finally got home and Peter and I talked about a potential business opportunity we’re looking into; it’s too early to disclose anything yet. The next 2 weeks I’m filling in for another agent who is traveling in Europe. So I spent much of the afternoon processing a contract cancellation, following up on other deals in escrow and basically getting organized.
I’m up at 4:30 hoping for another rain shower today. I like being busy!
